When I try to browse the internet at home I get the "browser unable to connect to website message" for any site, clearly the wifi connection is not being made.
However when I check settings, connectivity,WLAN - it states I am connected and on connection manager that my connection is strong at 100%, yet still no wifi related features work.
I try turning my phone off, doing a soft reset but still the problem remains, any suggestions ?

Check your modem/router setting if it's in your personal network, try another device, i.e. PC to test the connectivity success or not. Make sure firewall setting in your network/mobile allow phone to connect to internet.

I strongly believe its the FSecure. I tired all possible ways but i cud not fix this problem. Now I removed fsecure and my wlan is fine. I am not sure for how long it will remain. I will get back here if its really fixed.
PS: if at all you have come across on other threads that its coz of the 3rd party apps and if they ask you remove it. Its again wrong. I have tried formatting my phone (mass drive) and installing a clean copy of Belle, then the first thing I checked was wlan. Even then its the same. Hence I believe its the Fsecure thats blocking wlan. I removed it and my wlan is fine now. I am not sure if it will remain good lol
Updated: Darn its still the same :/
