E71 and WAP connections in Brazil (TIM)

Hi, I've searched and searched but can't seem to find the answer. I bought an unlocked E71 in the USA and now use it with TIM in Brazil, but cannot connect to internet via WAP. When I turned on the phone upon arrival in Brazil, I receved a text message from the phone company (TIM), which made an automatic configuration for WAP and MMS connections, and I have double-checked the settings with the information from the company. Everything appears to be OK. The phone works fine, as does the WLAN connection.

 

Any Ideas of what is happening?

Brazilian 3G frequencies differ from North America. Change dual or UMTS mode to GSM only.
