[X] E61
[ ] other:
Wireless Access Point
Manufacturer: LinkSys
Model: WAP11
WLAN Seetings:
[X] 802.11b only
[ ] 802.11b/802.11g mixed
[X] Security (WEP, 128 bit)
[ ] Hidden Network (SSID Not Broadcast)
Router/Firewall
[ ] Same as Wireless Access Point
[X] IP set automatically by DHCP
[X] Firewall Active
Success
[ ] Yes - browser, email, etc. all work ok
[X] No - Error, Connection Timeout, etc.
E61 Firmware: 1.0610.04.04 19-04-06 RM-89
WLAN connections work, but intermittently.
The problems occur on both the WiFi basestations that I have tried to connect with (one home, one corporate, both routinely used with a variety of other equipment without trouble).
The problem seems to be worse if Bluetooth is enabled. While I have not done any extensive tests, the WLAN connection seemed relatively reliable (bar some web sites that seem to upset the Nokia browser) until a Bluetooth connection was established.
Disabling power saving did not appear to make a significant difference.
It seems likely that there are at least two problems. One is related to the physical 802.11 connection, and possibly related to error rates on the link (depending on the implementation, enabling the Bluetooth link may be increasing the error rates). The other appears to be related to the browser and network stack not handling some web data and/or packet errors well.
The timeouts effectively render the WiFi unusable - to the extent that advertising this device as suitable for concurrent BT and WLAN connections is clearly false advertising.
I hope that a firmware update can resolve these problems.

WPA authentication error" but connections work sporadically.
