Hello!
I can't print from my E52 through WIFI LPR... I have Samsung CLP-315W printer, it's in my wireless network, not connected to any pc. I'm trying to set up my nokia, but it doesn't seem to work.
When I'm printing from phone, it says "connecting" for 3 seconds, and then "document printed", but nothing really happens....
My settings:
Driver: General
Bearer: LPR
Access point: (my network name)
Host: (Printer's IP)
User: E52
Queue: SAMSUNGPRINTER (same as printer's name on the routers DHCP client list)
Orientation: Portrait
Paper size: A4
Help greatly appreciated... thanks!

Accesspoint should be an IP address of your router or modem, usually 192.168.0.1.

It is not possible to enter the IP address on the "access point".
I can only pick from the list of available access points, so I'm choosing my home network, which is the router...

Oke, but keep in mind that not all printers are compatible.

Ok then, so what compatibility depends on? If my nokia has a driver installed for HP, or for "General", i assume that the "general" will work on ANY other printer, so why doesn't it? Why such a huge mobile phone producer don't have a compatibility website, which will say anything about compatibility issues and how to solve them? Where are the patches?
You see, I purchased that phone, because it's loaded in business features, meanwhile the most important part of its software, the email, is crashing, then the printing isn't working... I mean, how the nokia software developers can call themselves "developers" after what they did with emails on this device? Not to mention the printers. After so many years of being on the market, they allowed this full-of-bugs software to see the daylight and released it?
I know you are trying to help me here, but I'm really dissapointed in nokia at this stage. And saying that not all the printers are compatible won't solve my problem.
Thanks anyway!
