I am using a nokia 2760 phone windows xp and ivt 2.6.0.8 and nokia pc suite 7.1.26.0 the phone will connect just fine as soon as the computer is turned on and I can work with it for a minute or two some times as long as 5 minutes but then it will disconnect and the only way you can reconnect the phone is to restart the computer please help

Can you connect your phone to other phones, ie., pair your phone and do file transfers?

Are you able to connect other bluetooth devices to your PC?

Before you start suspecting your phone, I would suggest you to reinstall the drivers in your PC, and also, to try accessing the phone from the My Bluetooth places icon, instead of thru PC Suite

my headset and keyboard both connect to the pc fine I have tried turning them both off and runing just the phone I have reinstalled everything I don't know how many times. if I use the bluetooth menu to connect to the phone I can only download things off the phone I can't send anything to the phone I can pair the headset to the phone but not sure how to pair the phone to another phone I do have 3 of the same phones so will play with that and see if I can get phone to phone to work

ok this is wierd I finaly broke down and called nokia from the land line after waiting on hold for about 20 minutes I got an agent who was supprise not helpful at all could not even suggest any steps to take but I though what the heck I would try one more restart so I turned off all my blue tooth devices including the wireless keyboard the headset and the other 2 phones the computer came on and now the connection is stable so I decided to turn the devices on one at a time and now they are all working and the nokia is staying connected so I guess the soultion for me is to have all devices off when powering up the computer and then turn them on one at a time after system is fully loaded
