but in Mass storage I have free size about 4GB

format your phone memory. dial *#7370# if asks for lock code use 12345 (default code).

FORMATING PHONE MEMORY WILL LOSS ALL YOUR DATA ON YOUR PHONE MEMORY. PLEASE BACKUP YOUR IMPORTANT DATA ON YOUR MEMORY CARD.

I have the very same problem since v51. When I connect my phone as mass storage it show the memory card free space correctly, but if I connect my phone in PC Suite mode or MTP the memory card and the internal memory show as FULL (0 byte left). Very anoying problem =(

2) phone sw version (dial *#0000# )

This would help to investigate the issue.

Hi,

I got this fixed. My internal memory free space was 22 MB. I cleared some of the files and increased the free space to 34 MB. Now PC suite is working fine and its showing the correct free space in my memory card

I have a 5230 and have been experiencing the same problem since FW v21.

Yesterday I had this problem everytime I connected the phone in PC Suite mode (even in Image Transfer Mode); today, after a Hard Reset, I encounter this problem during the Music syncronization process, randomly (sometimes after 1 song, sometimes after 1GB of songs...I couldn't figure out why).

Please look into this as it's really annoying, we can't do one Hard Reset a day. Moreover, I'm forced to transfer music manually instead of just one clicking "Sync Music" in your very cute but currently unstable Ovi Suite!

A little correction: now the device is seen as "full" as soon as i connect it via USB (yeah, i forgot to mention that it only happens with the USB cable, not with the bluetooth connection).

Maybe it happens when the memory card is full for more than a certain % ? There are 1.8 out of 14.8 left, which means more or less 12%.

I had the same problem yesterday when, with the old memory card, there were 280 MB out of 1.8GB free, which is around 14%. Hope it helps.

Nice tips Etchelon (Andrea). In my Nokia 5800 the memory card has 40% left, but the internal memory has just 14% left, is so hard to me clean it up just for testing, and again... is a very anoying problem, we should can use all the memory available with no problems.

I have this problem too in  v51.0.006 it is windows 7

it shows the same as santiagof4, there is also the problem where when connected it should be showing the 5800 picture, but as you can see in santagof4's photo, it just shows default mtp device.

I spoke to soon, as soon as i refresh my m4a library (~900 songs), the database corrupts itself again.
