updaing firmware for bluetooth headsets

Anyone know if Nokia have ever released "new firmware" for any of their bluetooth headsets?

I've seen some car kits have updates and software to install the update.. but I've not seen any evidence of an update for a headset

I was wondering the same thing. My post about it is here, wondering if they will add A2DP profile support to their mono headsets. Fingers crossed.

Re: updaing firmware for bluetooth headsets

I don't know who's more likely to see an answer first.. I was hoping for a firmware update for the buggy but incredibly expensive BH-905.. Although they're listed as compatible with the N900, the headphones crash regularly and need to be reset to reattach to the phone..

It also affects Android phones, though Nokia will care less about that.

The problem is in the headphones, not the handset.. so I was wondering if they every release updates as without it, the headphones are pretty useless

Re: updaing firmware for bluetooth headsets

Hi,

To my understanding, no firmware updates have been released to any of the Nokia Bluetooth headsets - at least so far.

You could try (if not done yet) if resetting the headset would help.

Cheers.
