Hi there,
I just bought a Volvo V50 with an installed car kit by the previous owner (presumable around mid 2007 if relevant). As my Nokia 6210 just broke, I'd like to replace it by a phone that best fits with the carkit. THe kit seems to be the CK-7W as is have the remote button as with the CK-7W. The phone holder is the CR56. What confuses me is that there is a fixed (standard) cable connection at the bottom of the phoneholder and also a separate micro USB now hanging just out of the dashboard, near the left side of the phone holder. As if it should be connected to the Nokia phone on the left side. With the kit there is a wired microphone and an external loudspeaker. Who can help me?

Hi,
CR-56 is for Nokia 6233 and 6234 phones. You could check compatible phones from here:
I'd change current holder to some universal model (e.g. CR-39) and select one of the models that is compatible via Bluetooth connection.
Cheers.

Thanks Rycheman. I saw the compatibility on the Nokia site. But I was confused by the micro USB cable. Both 6233 and 6234 don't have this kind of connection. At least not on top or left side. So still I like to know where this micro USB is for (charging? connection to car audio?).

Hi Valentijn
This cable was not part of the CK-7W so it must have been added by the former owner.
I would recommend contacting a professional installer to investigate this for you.
Kind Regards
