Hi.

 

I found 2 datacables, but I can´t figure out which fits my Nokia, which looks like this:

Or do these cables connect to the phone instead of the battirie?

What I found:

 

1)  Ebay

 

2) Amazon

 

Nr.2 looks more like a batteriecharger.

What version of the Nokia 8800 Do you have?

The Standard 8800 and the Sirocco 8800 do not have any attachment point for a data cable and they can only be connected to a computer or a car kit with bluetooth.

If you have an 8800 Arte then this has a Micro USB connector on it, and you will be able to connect with a cable such as Nokia Cable CA-101.

I have the first ever sold Nokia 8800:

 

8800

 

One seller wrote the cable would connect where the batterie sits?? Is that possible?

Nokia Care Points can access the terminal plug of gold pins below the battery with adaptors that fit in battery space but this is not for accessing data unfortunately.

Hi. One question left. Nokia offers for my handy also instructions for a software (firmware) update with a cable. Why do the offer that, if no cable is available?

8600 Luna, 8600 Arte & 8600 Saphire Arte all have a micro USB connector allowing updates.

I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELL THE PROBLEM IS WITH MY ORIGINAL NOKIA 8800. THE PROBLEM IS WITH MY SECURITY CODE. THE PHONE DOES NOT REQURE THE SECURITY CODE ONLY ON ONE SIM CARD AND IT WORKS FINE. IF I TRY TO PUT A DIFFERENT SIM CARD IT ASKS FOR THE SECURITY CODE. THE THING IS THAT I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, MASTER CODES AND ALL OTHER SORTS OF CODES.NOTHING WORKS. THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED IF YOU WONDER.

WOULD IT BE FINE IF I FLASH THE PHONE(WHICH I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO)????

WELL IF SOMEONE HAVE AN IDEA PLEASE SHARE IT WITH ME. I WILL BE VERY GREATFULL.
