Hi again, back with another problem!!! Well i recently upgraded my n95 to n96 and switched memory cards over, however when entering it in to handset i accidently pressed restore on memor card. I have loads of files including pictures of my kids growing up which id love back. Please help!!!!!!!! A free program would be great but if not id be happy to pay for my files back.

First of all, take the card out of the phone, put it somewhere safe, and absolutely do not use it for anything, don't even read off it, until someone here recommends an application. The less you use it, the less data will be lost.

You about want to recover your files that were deleted from memo card ? There is a freeware called ' smart flash recovery ' ( PC ). This sw works well for media files such as .jpg. You have to have a card reader.

No i havent got a memory card reader but can access one. Is it easy to use? Is it free or do I have to pay for it?
To the first reply - why do I need to take it out of handset? Even if im not using it on phone shall i still remove?

Ok thanks i will give it a try tonight, is there any place you recommend downloading it from? I have had a browse bujt only found sites asking for payment. I really hope i can get these files back, has it worked for any one else here? Kudos given.Thanks.

I downloaded it from http://www.smartpctools.com Google with keyword ' smart flash recovery ' you would get many links to download for free. I've used this software. It is offered as a freeware.

Thanks alot guys but i downloaded this program run it but still couldnt find anything on the memory card, if there is no other way now i can atleast come to turns that i wont get my pictures back .

Unfortunately. The recovery is only successful in some cases, not all cases. The result depends various conditions. You can get your file back when it has been recently deleted and its space is not overwriten. You should keep not use the card more, put it in safe place. Be patient, someone else will give you another recommendation. Good luck to you !

Ok will do. I dont really need the memory card itself! Just the data that I deleted! Yes i know im a fool!!!! I hope someone can come up with something.
