I bought BH905 and this headset is not working at all.
Everything about the headset is fine and well on the next day after purchase.
But I can managed to use the headset for only one day.
At the end of the day, the headset will just died.
I could not reactivated the headset.
The bluetooth function just cease to function.
I can only used it with normal 35mm cable as a noise cancelling headset.
Which defeat the purpose of purchasing the Bluetooth headset in the first place.
I had bought down to the service centre and nokia partner store.
They had replace the headset once but the same problem persists.
And the answer given is unsatisfactory.
And they refused to do further replacement and also provide no solution to my persistent problems.
I am thoroughly disappointed with Nokia with regards to such incident.
I hope some one can look into the matters and solved the problem once and for all.

Not sure whether anyone else is facing the same problem with this headset as me.

For the jamming you could try user manuals trick.

"To reset the headset if it stops functioning, even though it is charged,

press the volume down key, the multifunction key, and the rewind key.

The reset does not clear the settings."

I have the BH-905 for a week, the noise canceling is excellent, sound quality it top!
The only problem is the microphone quality - people hear me too loud on the other side of the line,

I tried it with BlueTooth 1.x and with a BlueTooth 2.x

With gsm handset with BT 1.x the sound quality is "metallic" - too much compressed ?
With gsm handset with BT 2.x the sound quality is too loud - less clear, than without bluetooth.

I must say the the BH-905 was replaced 2 times ! before I got  a "good one" When it turned-off it could not be turn-on ..

There are A LOT of issues with the bh-905 as far as I've seen now. besides the wonderful quality the device gives when it actually works, it's too much trouble keeping the device working properly.

My BH-905 works rather well with my N97 but for a few exceptions:

1. The left earpiece sometimes will put out a lot of static, especially while you adjust it.  It acts like in intermittent connection problem if it were a hardwired headphone.  It takes some adjustment before the static goes away.  I wonder if it is repairable (poor connection)?

2. During especially slow quiet pieces you can notice a speeding up and slowing down while the N97 is performing other tasks like Facebook updates, Accuweather updates, email auto-retrieval (two POP3 accounts and 1 MfE) or RSS feed auto-retrieval (I have 8 feeds with a variety of updates).

I realize that the BH-905 cannot be perfect while in Bluetooth mode, but it is pretty impressive--especially the noise cancellation which allows you to listen to your music at a quiet low volume in a noisy room.

I have had nothing but problems with the over-priced BH-905 Bluetooth headphones. It freezes up all the time and will not work reliably with the iPhone 4 even after re-setting. I got it to work once with iPhone 4 about a week ago after forcing a reset but now it just fails all the time even though the iPhone says there is a connection. I did get the head-phones to work with my desktop PC (but they wouldn't work with my lap-top) but even when the head-phones do work the sound quality is terrible because of excessive static interference.

Does Nokia ever read (or reply to) these postings complaining about the BH-905 or is this forum just an excuse for them to save money instead of provinding useful support?

I have the same problem.

The blue light is flashing quickly, and the laptop cannot connect.

I have already tried to reset via multifunction+rewind+vol down , and nothing..

I don't think its broken, that's the first day of use.

I don't know what the problem , but I solved deleting the device from bluetooth panel and installing again. Now its working. I hope it helps someone.
