Play 360 shuts off when paired

Every time I try to connect my iPad to the Play 360, the first several times the iPad states "connected" but the Play 360 suddenly powers off.

I hold the power button to reboot the speaker, put it into pairing mode, and it happens again.  I have "forgotton this device" on the iPad, but that didn't solve the problem.  After between four and twelve cycles of the above, the Play 360 and iPad connect, and it functions well.

The iPad is with the latest software.  The problem occurs whether the Play 360 is connected to a power source or not.

Thanks for any help!

Re: Play 360 shuts off when paired

Hi Mojohito,

Thanks for your post and as a newbie to this online community let me welcome you to the Nokia discussion forums and a happy new year.

The issue you describe is a problem with the Ipad's bluetooth and not your 360 device as I have the exact same setup and have to go through the same convulted method of pairing the two devices i.e just have to keep pairing deleting pairing deleting until eventually connects.

If you look at the below thread you will see your not the only person  with this issue on the Ipad and the Nokia 360 device.

The best thing do is maybe email Apple on this and mabye a future software update on the Ipad will correct this but who knows its something that needs to be relayed to Apple own support channels.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Re: Play 360 shuts off when paired

Thank you Raoul.

I have found a pattern that seems effective most of the time. I don't have the iPad "forget this device". On the Play 360 I hold the bluetooth pairing button, and the moment before the pairing tone on the speaker sounds, I initiate the iPad to connect.

It seems if the iPad attempts to connect the very instant the 360 goes into pairing mode, they connect properly.

Would you give that a try and let me know if you have good results?
