I'm using a 6110Nav, and a CK-300 Carkit.

I have a few questions about using CarMenu:
Is it possible to use the built-in (in 6110) gps software, instead of NokiaMaps, without closin CarMenu?

Isn't it possible to dial a number, that isn't in your contacts, from CarMenu?

Hi

You can place 'Car Menu' into the background by pressing the menu button on the phone. Then it is possible to perform any function using the phone keys. To bring back car menu, simply press the big slver button on the CK-300 input device.

To dial a number not in the contacts, simply turn the input device button to the left then turn and press on each number to select it then hit the green dial button.

Alternatively you can put car menu into the background as above and dial using the phone keypad. Once you connect, ar menu will re-appear.

I can't wait to try it out, I couldn't believe it wasn't possible..

That makes it possible also to use the built-in gps-program (not NokiaMaps) it's a 6110Nav. and i can only see NokiaMaps, in the CarMenu??

By the way, sometimes when making a call, the sound fails. after pressing the green button, there is a picture of a phone, and the name of whom i am calling, the pone icon then flashes green and yellow... Do you know the reason for this?

Not heard of that one.

Make sure your phone software is up to date as a possible fix though..
