I'm using Windows Vista (all latest updates installed), and a CS-15 USB modem with DNA in Finland. I have managed to get the product working, but when I reboot the computer on restart the CS-15 red LED sits there blinking for up to half an hour, and wellphone2.exe takes about 50% of CPU. Eventually, if you wait long enought, a dialog appears asking for the SIM card PIN, and then the DNA Nokia Internet Modem software window appears and I can connect.
I installed the update at http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/in
Any ideas what is wrong, and how to correct it?.

Further information - the DNA icon in the system tray shows nothing when right-clicked it for the first half hour. Once the PIN request has appeared, however, right-clicking gives a menu with options to select the usb modem, open the program, or remove it. So it looks like it is simply taking a long long time for the Nokia Internet Modem software to initialise.
Is there any way of speeding up the modem software startup? What is Nokia Internet Modem doing with 30 minutes and 50% CPU of a 2GHz processor? Calculating factors of large numbers perhaps?

Further information - the problem has nothing to do with the CS-15 device, it is purely due to the Nokia Internet Modem software. If the CS-15 is not connected, the wellphone2.exe process still takes 50% CPU for 30 minutes, and the system tray icon shows no menu when right clicked. After 30 minutes right-clicking the system tray icon produces the menu, or double clicking the desktop shortcut brings up the Nokia Internet Modem program. So the Internet Modem program is getting stuck in some kind of timeout or loop for half an hour.
It would be nice to know when DNA and Nokia produce a fix for this.

Further investigation reveals that sporadic (once every 2 to 3 days) crashes of my laptop are due to Nokia Internet Modem. Exiting the software causes the crashes to go away, and re-enabling it means the crashes return after a couple of days. The crashes only occur when the CS-15 isn't plugged into the laptop.
I've been able to test this because I leave the CS-15 at the cottage, so it is only used at the weekend, but the Nokia Internet Modem software continues to run in the system tray during the week.
I have ordered a WiFi access point which claims to support the CS-15, and when it arrives I will uninstall Nokia Internet Modem from my PC. I'll report here once the access point arrives if this solution works.

I purchased a Zoom 4501 Wireless-N access point with 3G USB modem support. Connected the CS-15, configured the AP with the pin code for the SIM, and on reboot the access point connected instantly. So ... no more Nokia Internet Modem software on my laptop eating up one processor for half an hour, and no more bi-weekly crashes due to the software. The AP cost less than 40 Euro.
That's the best workaround I've found.

Problem solved dl'ing CS-17 program from this link: http://nds2.epsilon.nokia.com/epsilon/prod/nokia/w
works perfectly with cs-15 too.
