After installing Anna on my N8, the Bluetooth connection between the phone and the CK-100 carkit is broken after about 5 minutes. Restarting the car and therefore the carkit makes a new connection which breaks up again after 5 minutes. My other Nokia phone stays connected all the time. I am open for suggestions

Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately you are not the only user to post such issues post Anna on N8. Whilst I had to have Anna installed at Care Point I had backed up device settings to memory card prior to "hard reset" and fortunately connectivity has remained with Toyota Bluetooth upon restoration.

Is this issue the same with CK-300 phone kits?

Thanks for the response but I don't think it's a matter of settings since the phone connects to the carkit as it did before the update. However after about 5 minutes the phone breaks the Bluetooth connection to the carkit an d I can't find a setting responsible this problem.

I have no experience with that carkit

@Pblvkleef
Presumably your CK-100 is using latest software version?

I don't know. The carkit was installed by the provider in April 2009 an not updated ever since.

I paired an Anna N8 with a CK300 phone kit and the connection lasted 15mins and several phone calls. So it seems the CK300 doesn't have the same bug.

There have been software updates to CK-100 since 2009.
I cannot say this will 100% fix the issue, but personally it would be my next course of action.

Because I had a problem with Maps (Map function Not Supported) I had to re-install the Anna software and restore factory settings. After that the Map function was working again. Since that re-install the connection between the N-8 and the CK-100 wasn't interrupted anymore. Don't ask me why or how, the only thing I can say is: It is software which should explain it all.
