Audio controller on headphones not working

I have HS-45, AD-54 headsets and the audio controller is not working on my N91.Please help

On most Nokia audio adapters (AD-XX products) there's a lock switch on the side. Is yours maybe in the "locked" position?

Good point (I should have thought of that). Older audio controllers did have a battery in them. I don't think they do any more.
