Hi all, im new here, and apologise if this questions has been asked....so might be a simple answer.
I have a Nokia 5800
I have installed the CK-300 into my car.
Bluetooth works fine - i can send and receive calls.I have just installed the Carmenu onto my phone, and works fine when the 5800 is connected to the CK-300.
BUT it does not play the music through the speakers - it does show it playing on screen. it's probably a settings problem, as i have received call and my ring tone plays through the speakers (mp3)
Can someone help

The CK-300 has two outputs:
A mono connection for calls
A stereo connection for music that must be connected to the aux input of the car stereo system.
In most cases the symptoms you describe are due to the installer not connecting the stereo output.
To confirm, you will need to switch to aux in order to hear the music. A ring tone will play through the mono connection to ensure it is heard even when you are listening to the radio or a cd for example.
Hope this helps.

i have just read something of that order on the web!!
is it a simple common wire? 3.5 jack to phono?
I take it its is the port on the left?>? is there a specific cable i need to get??

Hi,
It's the 3.5mm port on the right hand side next to the mic connector.
The cable needed will depend on your car.
Kind Regards

thanks for the reply.
I have a Renault Megane 2006 model face-lift with the OEM system.
Im not sure if the HU has an AUX in...i will have to check the megane forum...unless you know the specific cable i need...
thank you again

If there is no aux selection on the front panel and no socket in the glove box or arm rest then I'm pretty sure it doesn't have an aux input.
All is not lost though. You can buy an adaptor that taps into the cd changer port on the head unit.
Connects2 make one for the Renault ISO system:

This should really be installed by a professional installer though. If you are UK based, you can find your nearest Nokia Accredited Installer here: www.nokia.co.uk/carkitinstallers
Hope this helps
