Hi all

I found a bug in the 6233 phone regarding the snooze function. This can be quite critical and annoying as it may stop the alarm process.
Here's how to reproduce:

From the main menu, select "Favorites"
Then select "Alarm"
Set the time (for instance one minute from now) and then hit OK. do not leave the "favorites" menu (why would you, anyway).

This used to be the way I would leave the phone somewhere to wake me up in the morning. When it rings, the normal button for "Snooze" would be the middle button. However, there wont be any snooze button. Instead, hitting the middle button will take you back to the alarm clock setting, rendering the alarm clock blocked. It won't ring again!

So for some reason, if the alarm bell rings and you are not in the main/home screen, you won't get the snooze option at all. This is kind of weird. I'm hoping a next release will fix this :smileysad: i've overslept twice before I noticed it wasn't me, but the phone making a mistake at a very important moment (in the morning, when you're not able to think yet)...
Kudos!

I assume you are using active standby? I think this is by design on S40v3 or later GUI... Maybe the quickest way to get around this is to press the red key once you have set the alarm. This will take you immediately to the home screen where you eventually get the Snooze option. =)
Kudos!

Well, No, I don't use active stand by and Yes, I know pressing the red button once will solve it. But it is completely beside the point that the alarm clock has a design flaw. I also own a 6310i, and basic navigation is the same but it does not have this issue.
Kudos!
